Role Summary
This remote Project Manager role is designed for a seasoned professional with expertise in managing complex, high-value security deals within the technology sector. The position involves leading strategic initiatives, fostering executive relationships, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with senior leadership, clients, and partners to facilitate strategic discussions and executive engagement.
- Lead the end-to-end management of complex security deals, including planning, execution, risk mitigation, and closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, legal, finance, and operations teams by clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and deliverables to drive project success.
- Create detailed project plans, roadmaps, and timelines for strategic initiatives, monitor progress, and address potential roadblocks proactively.
- Provide regular, transparent updates to executive leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and key decisions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to address potential issues promptly.
- Contribute to refining project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to optimize organizational processes.
- Oversee project budgets, resources, and financial implications, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial management.
- Ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational strategy and client requirements.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating analytical skills and developing effective solutions in complex deal structures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, particularly managing complex deals, strategic initiatives, or client-facing projects in the technology industry.
- Proven ability to engage and influence C-level executives and build trust with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, intricate global deals involving multiple stakeholders and custom solutions.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate teams without direct authority.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical and strategic concepts clearly.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills for developing effective solutions.
- Knowledge of Cisco’s technology portfolio and the IT industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, Jira, and collaboration platforms.
- Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or similar are a plus.

Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 – $45.00 Hourly
This position is fully remote and can be performed from an approved location.
