Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager II to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for managing and supporting the financial and operational execution of IT projects within a prominent organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary expectations. This position demands a blend of project management prowess and financial controls expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology roadmaps.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Monitor and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resource planning to optimize project outcomes.
  • Support change management and stakeholder engagement activities to enhance project acceptance and success.
  • Track and analyze project costs, forecasts, and variances, utilizing ERP financial tools such as Oracle.
  • Assist with project change request (PCR) processes and perform risk analysis focusing on cost and schedule impacts.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by project leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:
  • Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of 2 years of related experience in project support or financial controls.
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher; 4+ years of experience in IT project management or project controls.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project/Planner, Oracle).
  • Basic understanding of financial principles such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate financial data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with BI reporting tools and data visualization is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with IT systems development, lifecycle and SaaS/cloud financial treatment is preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise reporting and vendor coordination is advantageous.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies to enhance project agility and responsiveness.

Pay Range: $35.00 – $40.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
