Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Account Manager to join a leading food manufacturing company renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative products to retailers, foodservice providers, and distributors nationwide. This role is pivotal in expanding the company’s market presence through strategic partnerships and robust account management. The ideal candidate will be adept in relationship-building, possess strong analytical skills, and have a thorough understanding of the food industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture strong, enduring relationships with key accounts across retailers, distributors, and foodservice clients.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within existing accounts while actively pursuing new business leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, production, and logistics, to ensure customer satisfaction and manage timely delivery of products.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional deals to maximize profitability and revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic account plans to senior management.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to enhance business relationships and brand visibility.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets with a robust track record.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships.
  • Proficient in analyzing data and translating insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Highly skilled in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage relationships and analyze sales data.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required to meet business needs and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a high level of self-motivation and organizational skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing a variety of audiences.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and understanding of promotional planning and execution.


Pay Range: $95,000.00 – $100,000.00 Annually

This position is fully remote and can be performed from an approved location.
