Sr Learning Developer

Role Summary
A highly skilled Senior Learning Developer with expertise in instructional design, motion graphics, and video production is needed to create engaging technical learning assets. This role involves transforming complex, technical content into clear, visually compelling training materials. The position requires critical thinking, independent project management, and the ability to deliver both rapid and polished learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Convert technical content into engaging videos, animations, presentations, and job aids.
• Design motion graphics, animated explainers, and video content utilizing Adobe After Effects.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to clarify complex technical ideas and address content gaps.
• Apply brand standards, style guides, templates, and themes across all deliverables.
• Select production methods suited to different project timelines, from quick-turn assets to detailed, polished experiences.
• Use generative AI tools to explore concepts, streamline workflows, and enhance creative output.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines using project management tools such as ClickUp.
• Publish, maintain, and update learning content within Adobe Learning Manager.
• Support other creative and learning initiatives as needed to meet organizational objectives.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in learning development, visual design, motion design, or related fields.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual and information design capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe After Effects, along with experience in Illustrator, Photoshop, and video editing tools.
• Proven ability to convert incomplete or complex technical content into engaging educational assets.
• Solid judgment in balancing production speed, quality, and learner engagement.
• Experience working with generative AI tools while maintaining creative ownership.
• Ability to follow detailed brand standards and quickly learn technical subject matter.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency with productivity tools such as ClickUp, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
• Availability to work regular overlapping hours with the U.S. Central Time zone.
• A portfolio showcasing technical learning content, motion design, and rapid-turn projects.
• Familiarity with Adobe Learning Manager, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, and Lottie Animation.
• Experience with authoring tools such as Captivate, Storyline, Rise, or Camtasia is desirable.

Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 – $52.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with part of the work performed remotely and part on-site in Santa Clara, CA (3-4 days per week).
