Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and supporting; secure, scalable, and automated network solutions across their large, geographically diverse enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in both traditional networking and modern network automation. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy robust networking solutions that meet the specific needs of our enterprise.
  • Manage and optimize networks to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Configure networking and routing protocols to enhance the connectivity and efficiency of the network.
  • Lead network automation initiatives using Python and Ansible, aiming to reduce manual tasks and improve workflow efficiencies.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on cross-functional projects and innovations.
  • Maintain documentation for network configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a strong focus on network infrastructure and security.
  • Expertise in Cisco and Arista networking technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with DMVPN and Cisco SD-WAN solutions.
  • Proficient in network automation tools, specifically Python and Ansible.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
  • Relevant certifications in networking such as CCNP or CCIE are preferred.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Pay Range: $35.00 – $40.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
