Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale, complex projects across multiple phases and teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to predefined parameters.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers on effective project management strategies and practices.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
- Assess and evaluate project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adjust project plans as necessary to ensure successful project execution.
- Facilitate decision-making processes that affect project directions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintaining project scope control.
- Drive team performance through effective leadership, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages accountability and high standards.
- Engage in proactive risk management and contingency planning to address potential issues before they impact project timelines or outcomes.
- Strategically plan for resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects in a corporate setting, preferably in manufacturing or technology sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen ability to foresee potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and influencing senior management.
- Proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and project scheduling.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Relevant certifications in project management, such as PMP or Prince2, are highly desirable.
Pay Range: $50.00 – $70.00 Hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
