We are currently seeking a highly skilled Sr Project Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale, enterprise-level software projects. This role demands a results-oriented, tactical project manager who can adapt under challenging circumstances. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in a flexible work setting, primarily based in the office 2-3 days per week, with a contract duration of 12+ months and potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives across multiple functional areas, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.
- Adapt project management approach between Agile and Waterfall methodologies based on project needs, effectively managing transitions and expectations.
- Facilitate collaboration across project teams and stakeholders to drive project objectives and resolve any issues impacting project progress.
- Utilize Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps as primary tools for project communication, documentation, and tracking of deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and governance of enterprise data, software implementation projects, or network infrastructure enhancements.
- Prepare detailed project reports and updates for stakeholders, providing insights into project status, risks, and decision points.
- Ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Qualifications
- 8 to 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically with large-scale, enterprise software projects.
- Proven ability to manage projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps.
- Experience in the healthcare sector or with state government projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to less than perfect circumstances.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with software implementations, data governance, or networking is a plus.
- Ability to work onsite for 2-3 days per week in a flexible arrangement.
- Legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality in handling sensitive project information.
Pay Range: $50.00 – $53.50 Hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
