Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in software development and program management, looking to leverage their technical expertise to drive significant projects forward. The Technical Program Manager will be instrumental in managing complex, large-scale technical programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical program management activities, ensuring excellence and applying broad knowledge of products and services related to the organization.
  • Utilize program management principles, tools, and techniques to effectively develop plans, manage, and execute technology programs.
  • Facilitate the initiation of programs, securing alignment on program planning and ensuring cross-functional support for successful execution.
  • Implement accurate and efficient planning strategies, based on comprehensive knowledge, experience, and valid information.
  • Conduct full practical and effective risk management to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
  • Apply technology to enhance program processes and provide a unified source of visibility for all stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive the implementation of innovative solutions aligned with organizational vision.
  • Engage with Engineering and other relevant teams to address complex challenges, maintaining effective communication and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading software development/test projects in a Technical Program Manager capacity.
  • At least 5 years of experience utilizing Jira for project management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale programs with successful business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply professional, repeatable methodology for initiation, work breakdown, scheduling, reporting, risk, and change management.
  • Strong capability to understand a wide array of technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and align all program activities with organizational policies and procedures.

Pay Range: $70.00 – $75.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
