Windows OS Deployment Administrators
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Windows OS Deployment Administrator to join their team at Hanscom AFB. This role involves configuring and deploying Windows OS upgrades, including scripting and documentation, to support a global enterprise network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, Windows OS configuration, and troubleshooting. This is a contract position that offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and deploy Windows OS upgrade packages, including creating supportive scripting and documentation.
- Modify Windows 11 upgrade packages and deployment scripting based on testing outcomes.
- Test Windows 11 images in a Test Facility/Lab environment, identifying and resolving issues.
- Document testing processes and outcomes in the Lab environment to ensure consistency and quality.
- Prepare documentation for production rollout, distribution, and testing of the deployment.
- Troubleshoot issues with production deployment configurations, commands, and scripts.
- Manage the operation and sustainment of the BMC Client Management (BCM) deploy tool across the Enterprise.
- Assist with Active Directory issues as they relate to patching and configurations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or 3 years with a PhD in a related field.
- Must possess an active DOD Secret Clearance or higher.
- Active Security+ CE certification is required.
- Experience with Operating Systems deployment and upgrade automation toolsets (MECM, BCM deployment, and/or Tanium deployment of Windows OS).
- Proven knowledge of Enterprise IT networks in large scale business environments.
- Experience managing Active Directory at a moderate to advanced level.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document processes and procedures clearly and effectively.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
