Role Summary
This position is a mid-level Project Scheduler responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules for major capital projects within a hybrid work environment. The role involves collaborating with project teams and contractors to ensure schedules are accurate, aligned with project milestones, and compliant with company standards. The Project Scheduler plays a critical role in identifying risks, coordinating schedule updates, and supporting project execution to meet safety, cost, and timeline objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and approval of project baseline schedules in collaboration with project teams and contractors.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules for assigned capital projects using Primavera P6, ensuring detailed and comprehensive schedule documentation.
  • Regularly update project schedules to reflect current progress, revising forecasts and assessing the impact of delays.
  • Communicate schedule status, risks, and potential issues to project management teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Analyze schedules to identify critical paths, potential bottlenecks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve contractor schedule submissions, including baseline and progress updates, ensuring compliance with project controls standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during all project phases, including permitting, land acquisition, survey, and construction, to align schedules accordingly.
  • Produce standard schedule reports such as critical path analysis, lookahead schedules, milestone reports, and schedule variance reports.
  • Participate in schedule reviews at project gate sessions, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
  • Maintain scheduling records and baselines, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects project status.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project scheduling, preferably within industrial, infrastructure, or pipeline projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and familiarity with WBS development and schedule analysis.
  • Ability to interpret project scope, develop detailed schedules, and assess schedule impacts.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project phases including permitting, land, survey, and construction activities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple schedules within a hybrid work environment.
  • Knowledge of project control processes, risk management, and schedule optimization strategies.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid setting, with flexibility to coordinate between remote and in-office work.
  • Legal authorization to work in the designated location without sponsorship.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to address schedule challenges.

Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 – $40.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
