Role Summary
This is a senior-level implementation role focused on deploying Oracle-based solutions within manufacturing operations. The specialist will analyze business processes, translate requirements into technical applications, and lead the implementation and optimization of Oracle systems. The position involves hands-on leadership, extensive travel, and direct collaboration with plant staff to improve operational efficiency and ensure successful system adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle application solutions tailored to manufacturing processes.
  • Implement Oracle applications to optimize shipping, receiving, inventory, and order processing functions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and deploy customizations, extensions, and reports for Oracle systems.
  • Provide comprehensive end-user training and ongoing support to maximize system utilization and user competence.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business needs and Oracle capabilities, recommending effective solutions.
  • Prepare functional specifications for system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and post-implementation support activities ensuring timely delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, providing expert guidance on Oracle best practices.
  • Stay current with the latest Oracle product updates, releases, and features to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead efforts to ensure post-go-live system sustainment, supporting continuous process enhancements and staff training.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience implementing Oracle solutions in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle applications related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and order management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience conducting functional gap analysis and designing custom reports and extensions.
  • Ability to provide end-user training and support in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including driving to various operational sites.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to work directly with operations management and guide process improvements.
  • Ability to work in hybrid settings, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.
  • Working rights to operate within the country and comply with employment regulations.

Publishing Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
