About the Role
As a Release Manager, you will be accountable for coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver multi-phase network implementations, engineering support, and service delivery. You will work collaboratively with engineers, program managers, and external partners to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality execution of network change and release activities. Your efforts will directly impact the reliability and performance of our data center, enterprise, and branch networks, supporting our commitment to exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of network infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, implementation, and support to deliver projects on time, within scope, and under budget.
- Develop detailed work plans and manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and schedules, proactively resolving conflicts.
- Oversee scheduling and facilitate complex change management processes, including Request for Change (CRQ) reviews, release readiness, and post-implementation reviews.
- Manage delivery teams across geographies and vendors, ensuring resources are aligned and tasks are executed effectively.
- Maintain transparent, consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels—from technical teams to senior management—regarding project statuses, risks, and issues.
- Anticipate project bottlenecks and technical challenges, implementing mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
- Ensure strict adherence to firm-wide change management policies throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Support incident and problem analysis related to release activities, minimizing disruptions and ensuring continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience managing complex network infrastructure projects with a strong understanding of data center, WAN, LAN, and wireless networking technologies.
- Excellent project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple interdependent initiatives simultaneously.
- Extensive knowledge of network architecture, engineering, and operational environments, including SD-WAN, cloud services, optical systems, LTE, and emerging technologies.
- Strong understanding of change management frameworks and processes.
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience working across global teams, with flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources (FTE/FTC/vendors), ensure quality control, and deliver results on time.
- Certifications in project management or network engineering (e.g., PMP, CCNA, CCNP) are preferred.
