Role Summary
The Demand Intake Analyst is responsible for managing and evaluating incoming business and technology requests to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. This role serves as the initial point of contact for project and enhancement intake, documenting requests, assessing feasibility, and prioritizing based on strategic goals and resource capacity. The position involves collaboration with multiple teams to facilitate efficient intake processes and support demand management.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business requests, project proposals, and enhancement requests.
- Facilitate the intake process for technology and business initiatives, ensuring completeness and clarity.
- Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, objectives, scope, benefits, risks, and dependencies.
- Conduct preliminary analysis to assess request feasibility, complexity, and business value.
- Prioritize and track incoming demand based on organizational goals and available resources.
- Maintain intake dashboards, reports, and demand management documentation to support visibility and tracking.
- Coordinate with business, PMO, product, and IT teams to review and assign requests appropriately.
- Identify gaps in submitted requests and obtain additional information from stakeholders as needed.
- Support portfolio planning and governance processes by providing intake metrics and analysis.
- Ensure requests comply with established intake, governance, and approval procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in demand management, project coordination, or business analysis preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple requests effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with intake, governance, and project approval processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze requests for feasibility and alignment.
- Knowledge of project management tools and dashboards.
- Availability to work in an on-site environment.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Publishing Pay Range: $25.00 – $29.00 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
