Role Summary
The Operations Analyst is responsible for collecting, monitoring, and analyzing financial and operational data to deliver actionable management insights. This role involves tracking budget performance, system availability, employee productivity, incident reports, and equipment failures. The analyst supports reporting and special projects that contribute to operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Gather, track, and analyze financial and operational data to support management decision-making.
- Monitor O&M budget performance, including variance analysis and explanations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets using Hyperion.
- Track system availability, including downtime and performance metrics.
- Analyze employee performance data, such as overtime and days off.
- Maintain incident tracking related to safety, environmental, regulatory, and compliance issues.
- Review and coordinate rate sheets and invoice processing activities.
- Support the integration of redlines into design services and track project progress.
- Ensure Maintenance of Change (MOC) processes are progressing for maintenance activities.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, and support special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or relevant work experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1-3 years of financial analysis experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Project.
- Experience in midstream energy or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn applications such as PowerBI, Oracle, PI, and others.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present large datasets visually.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of independent work with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly.
- Ability to work on-site at the designated location.
Publishing Pay Range: $31.00 – $32.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
