Role Summary
This senior position involves designing, implementing, and managing enterprise endpoint management solutions with a focus on MECM and Adaptiva integration. The role requires expertise in deploying strategic configurations, optimizing content delivery, and enhancing system performance within large-scale IT environments. The ideal candidate will lead automation efforts, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and maintain MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) environments for enterprise client management.
  • Configure and optimize Adaptiva OneSite for content distribution and endpoint performance enhancement.
  • Develop, test, and deploy software packages, updates, and patches using MECM and Adaptiva tools.
  • Create and maintain task sequences for automated operating system deployments and upgrades.
  • Ensure endpoints meet security policies and organizational compliance standards.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for MECM and Adaptiva-related issues, including client health and content distribution challenges.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to streamline endpoint management processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Generate reports and analyze data on software deployment, system compliance, and health metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and implement best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience leading or supporting MECM and Adaptiva projects in large enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience architecting and managing MECM infrastructure at scale.
  • Extensive knowledge of integrating Adaptiva with MECM for content distribution optimization.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server platforms (2012–2025) and core services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows imaging, task sequences, and driver management.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and system management.
  • Skilled in creating comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly in reports for various audiences.

Publishing Pay Range: $55.00 – $60.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
