Senior Integrator Engineer
Our client is hiring a highly skilled and experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our VM Operations team. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing the security of our organization by collaborating with asset owners to remediate vulnerabilities, manage zero-day vulnerabilities, and ensure the secure operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of vulnerability management, remote code execution, and exploitation techniques, alongside hands-on experience in Linux environments. This is a full-time position that promises a challenging yet rewarding environment for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with asset owners to ensure the timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain processes to track and monitor the status of vulnerabilities across the organization.
- Manage the zero-day vulnerability response process, ensuring risks are identified, prioritized, and mitigated effectively.
- Analyze and assess vulnerabilities to determine their impact, likelihood of exploitation, and overall risk to the organization.
- Provide expert guidance on security patches, configuration changes, and compensating controls to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Monitor vulnerability management tools and generate reports to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and exploitation techniques.
- Support documentation of newly identified vulnerabilities as accepted risks.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management or a related cybersecurity role.
- Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and remote code execution (RCE).
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and best practices around vulnerability management.
- Expertise in Linux systems, including troubleshooting, configuration, and secure administration.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nexpose, Tenable, Qualys) and remediation tracking platforms.
- Solid understanding of zero-day vulnerabilities and their lifecycle.
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Preferred:
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate vulnerability-related tasks.
- Knowledge of CNAPP tools and cloud security concepts.
