Systems Administrator – Secret Clearance Required
Responsibilities:
- Identify and gather requirements for areas where business processes can be improved through automation.
- Interact actively with program managers and a team of developers for developing detailed requirements and specifications for proposed systems enhancements.
- Document business process steps and fine-tune them for accuracy.
- Identify internal control vulnerabilities, weaknesses, bottlenecks, technology gaps, or other areas of concern.
- Perform backup and recovery procedures for enterprise systems.
- Utilize and apply computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Contribute to the understanding and application of Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE).
- Experience troubleshooting desktop, web, database, and server problems.
- B.A. degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with the use and administration of Windows-based servers.
- At least 3 years of experience working with MS Active Directory and/or LDAP directory services.
- CompTIA’s Security+ certification.
- Experience with the USAF GeoBase Program is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check.
- Understanding of web administration and familiarity with web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
- Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise RDBMS.
- This position requires an active Secret clearance.
