Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive ServiceNow Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a successful track record in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) technologies. The successful candidate will thrive in the fast-paced environment of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. This position requires a high level of organization, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The role is full-time and based in our main office, with a contract length that will be determined based on the project needs and candidate's availability.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage projects on time to meet project schedules, handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Optimize the organization's portfolio of applications for enhanced efficiency and performance through Application Portfolio Management (APM).
  • Develop and implement ServiceNow ITSM modules including Asset Management, Incident Management, Change Management, CMDB/Discovery, Service Mapping/Dependency Mapping, and IT Asset Management.
  • Execute system integration using web services and other web-based technologies like XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.
  • Create and manage scripts and workflow, with experience in JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
  • Customize ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly, and implement custom UI changes with web technologies.
  • Setup and integrate SSO-SAML and ServiceNow with other applications, ensuring seamless operation and user experience.
  • Contribute to the technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow, including scripting aspects like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.
Qualifications:
  • Proven self-motivation with a successful track record in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) technologies.
  • Intermediate level experience with ServiceNow implementations and understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency in system integration using web services and other web-based technologies.
  • Experience in one or more scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, PowerShell.
  • Fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL, and understanding of CMDB.
  • Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, and proficiency in ServiceNow APIs.
  • Capability to customize ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
