Role Summary
This position is a senior-level .NET developer responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive full-stack solution that enhances Active Directory management capabilities. The role focuses on creating a self-service interface, such as a web application or tool, to enable application owners to securely manage Service Principal Names (SPNs) independently and efficiently. The developer will work on automating manual processes at scale, supporting tens of thousands of SPNs, and ensuring secure application set-up for business partners within a large organizational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a full-stack solution to facilitate self-service management of Service Principal Names (SPNs).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather high-level requirements for the interface or application.
  • Design, review, and refine technical architecture through whiteboarding, code reviews, and design sessions.
  • Build secure, user-friendly web applications or tools to automate manual SPN registration processes.
  • Ensure the solution supports large-scale deployment, managing tens of thousands of SPNs efficiently.
  • Integrate Kerberos authentication mechanisms, with a focus on managing SPNs securely.
  • Automate core processes to streamline application setup and SPN management workflows.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of the developed solutions.
  • Coordinate with application owners and business partners to facilitate effective user adoption.
  • Maintain documentation of technical designs, processes, and best practices for ongoing support and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with .NET development across full-stack environments, including both front-end and back-end programming.
  • Deep expertise in Active Directory and Kerberos authentication protocols.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable solutions managing large volumes of data or directory objects.
  • Strong understanding of automation processes related to directory services and identity management.
  • Experience with building secure web applications or tools for operational management.
  • Ability to interpret high-level requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work remotely and independently, managing priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of code review processes and application design best practices.

Publishing Pay Range: $46.81 – $49.13 hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
