Job Description: GDH is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Program Manager to work with our client. The Cloud Infrastructure and Platform team is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Program Manager to Lead and complete large-scale, client-driven projects. Communicate with clients and customers to determine their needs or requirements. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects. Our goal is to deliver high-quality experiences through data-driven improvement programs, timely and with outstanding results.

What You'll Do
  • Project Governance: Implement and drive PMO program management standards, including project governance policies and procedures, to ensure consistent practices across technical and strategic programs.
  • Build: Program plans with well-managed dependencies and internal partner alignment in shared tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc) and lead all aspects of resource distribution for staffing, budgeting, and scheduling to boost efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring active management of risks throughout and issue resolution.
  • Partner Collaboration: Establish effective communication channels with partners, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, finding opportunities to improve the processes and tools used in project management. Adhere to metrics and governance for process and drive process improvements.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure and report on program and portfolio performance, making data-driven decisions.
  • Alignment: Collaborate with engineering and program leaders to align project priorities and develop positive relationships with multi-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Executive: Prepare program status reports and executive briefings for various partner groups
  • Lead: Lead and Manage Project Managers and Scrum Leaders and advocate Agile principles to promote organizational agility and cultural change.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of experience as a Technical Project or Program Manager or similar related job profile (Release Train Engineer)
  • 5+ years' experience working with project planning tools (Jira, Confluence or SharePoint)
  • 5+ years' experience leading infrastructure or related projects
  • PMP Certification is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years facilitating meetings and speaking in front of groups
  • Experience with cloud and on-prem network infrastructure
  • Excellent analytical skills; you digest sophisticated information, can distill it, and make recommendations and proposals.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines
  • Appetite for rapid changes and comfort with navigating through uncertain/ambiguous situations
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient
  • Openness to new insights and willingness to innovate
  • Comfort managing budgets
  • Experience within or partnering with Support organizations
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies
  • Agile certifications preferred (CSM, RTE, etc.)
