Role Summary
This position involves providing civil survey drafting and technical support within a specialized drafting discipline. The role requires the application of developed technical skills to complete moderate to complex drafting assignments. Collaborating with team members and managing work efficiently are essential for delivering accurate and timely drawings and plans in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed civil survey drawings, plans, and diagrams with guidance from senior staff.
  • Gather relevant project data from designated sources to support drafting activities.
  • Monitor progress and quality of assigned tasks, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
  • Coordinate with team members to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
  • Apply basic problem-solving techniques to address routine drafting issues.
  • Support process improvements by following established procedures and standards.
  • Assist in revising and updating drawings based on project feedback or changing specifications.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing based on project deadlines and client needs.
  • Maintain organized records of work and project documentation.
  • Contribute to team meetings and technical discussions to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of drafting experience, with a strong understanding of drafting principles.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD applications and drafting software.
  • Experience in at least one drafting discipline (civil/structural, piping/mechanical, or electrical/instrumentation).
  • Ability to work independently on simple assignments and under moderate supervision on complex tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Demonstrated reliability and accountability in past work experiences.
  • Ability to adapt to project requirements and follow established procedures.
  • Willingness to travel less than 25%, depending on assignment needs.

Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 – $40.00 hourly

This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration.
