Role Summary
A Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex, high-impact programs that support organizational strategic goals. This senior-level role involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring effective governance, and driving value through meticulous planning and execution. The Program Manager fosters a collaborative environment and promotes continuous improvement to maximize business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic vision and measurable business objectives.
  • Develop and implement governance structures tailored to program needs and stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage program resources, including capacity planning and prioritization, to meet operational demands.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with sponsors, business owners, clients, and internal teams to facilitate seamless collaboration.
  • Maintain regular communications with executive stakeholders, providing transparent updates on progress and risks.
  • Oversee program schedules, scope, and resource planning, applying structured problem-solving techniques to ensure timely delivery.
  • Inspire and develop project teams, promoting mentorship, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Oversee program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Establish mechanisms for monitoring program health, delivering performance reports, and driving continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
  • Over 10 years of experience in program or project management, with at least 5 years leading large, cross-functional IT or infrastructure programs in professional or managed services environments.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams and manage executive stakeholder relationships in matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial management skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for multimillion-dollar programs.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, governance, risk management, and associated planning tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or Power BI.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
     

Publishing Pay Range: $78.00 – $80.00 Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
