Mid-Level Collaboration Engineer
Our client is hiring a motivated and driven Mid-Level Collaboration Engineer to join our dynamic Unified Communications team. This role involves supporting Department of Defense Contracts at multiple sites, focusing on network and UC engineering tasks including planning, design, configuration, deployment, and documentation. The ideal candidate will be prepared to travel up to 90% of the time and possess a blend of technical expertise and project management skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical defense infrastructure and requires a candidate with a strong background in enterprise voice and video collaboration solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Engineer, deploy, and troubleshoot voice and video collaboration systems including CUCM, UCS platform, Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), and more.
- Lead the deployment of Cisco Unified Communications Manager cluster, Cisco Contact Center Express, and Cisco Unity Connection cluster.
- Configure and integrate analog voice gateways with existing Cisco Emergency Responder clusters.
- Apply Cisco best practices and Military Unique Deployment Guide along with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG’s) standards to required devices.
- Work with Expressway Core and Edge (Exp-C&E) and Third-party applications (e.g., xMedius Fax Service, Arcadian Attendant Console) for best practices.
- Provide planning, design, configuration, deployment, and documentation support as part of the Unified Communications team.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense standards across all deployments and configurations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in architecture/design, development, and implementation of enterprise voice and video collaboration solutions.
- Proven experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager cluster, Cisco Contact Center Express, and Cisco Unity Connection cluster.
- DoD IAT Level II certification or equivalent highly desired (e.g., Security Plus).
- Ability to travel up to 90% as required for project needs.
- Strong familiarity with deployment and configuration of analog voice gateways and integration with Cisco Emergency Responder clusters.
