Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Container Systems Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for developing and managing a multi-vendor container environment, focusing on design, architecture, configuration, and deployment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with technologies such as Kubernetes, Longhorn, Tanzu, Docker, and OpenShift. Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect multi-vendor container environments, focusing on solutions in Kubernetes, Longhorn, Tanzu, Docker, and OpenShift.
  • Translate business requirements into long-term architecture solutions.
  • Define, design, and build directory, monitoring, clustering, and configuration management environments.
  • Develop directory, monitoring, clustering, configuration management design architecture and artifacts.
  • Evaluate hardware and software platforms and configurations, integrating systems to meet performance and security standards.
  • Assess current environments for performance efficiencies, stability, reliability, serviceability, and security posture improvements.
  • Conduct, document, and collaborate on technology reviews to ensure alignment with current trends in directory, monitoring, clustering, and configuration management technology.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing, architecting, and managing container environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Longhorn, Tanzu, Docker, and OpenShift.
  • Experience in directory, monitoring, clustering, and configuration management environments.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical architecture solutions.
  • Skilled in evaluating hardware and software platforms for system integration.
  • Competence in assessing and improving system performance, stability, reliability, and security.
  • Excellent collaboration skills for conducting technology reviews and aligning with current industry trends.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
