Role Summary
This position involves supporting project management and field operations for solar panel and battery installation projects. The role requires coordination, technical support, and data management to ensure smooth execution of site installations. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in troubleshooting and site verification activities within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to organize and maintain comprehensive site lists.
- Review site surveys and provide recommendations for installation strategies.
- Assist Edge team members by entering SCADA change control data and cross-referencing multiple worksheets for accuracy.
- Update and verify location data on GIS mapping systems to ensure precise site mapping.
- Support troubleshooting of solar panel, battery, and related equipment installations, leveraging field experience.
- Work with field teams on solar panel, cabinet, and router installations, providing technical support as needed.
- Log into remote devices such as Vsat IDUs or cellular modems to verify connectivity and system status.
- Maintain flexibility to adjust work schedules and coordinate with team members to adapt to project changes.
- Travel locally during the workweek to support on-site activities and coordinate with supplies at the client’s downtown location.
- Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring clear and calming communication during project challenges.
Qualifications
- Field experience with solar panel and battery installations, including troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Excel for data management and collaboration.
- Basic knowledge of site surveys, GIS mapping systems, and remote device access.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work hybrid schedules, including office visits and remote tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel during the week as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
- Excellent communication skills and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Availability to work part of the time at the client’s downtown location for supplies and coordination.
Publishing Pay Range: $35.00 – $40.00 hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
