Role Summary
This position requires a self-motivated professional with a proactive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to support multiple project managers within the natural gas industry. The role involves coordinating technical tasks, ensuring project safety, and maintaining organized project documentation. The successful candidate will demonstrate dependability, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing project needs, including working outside of regular hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and administrative support to multiple project managers in natural gas pipeline projects.
  • Assist with preparing project cost estimate packages, scope of work, and contract documents.
  • Develop and review natural gas pipeline and meter station design drawings using software like Visio and drawing tools such as Google Earth Pro.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including material lists and construction specifications.
  • Coordinate and communicate project requirements clearly and in a timely manner to team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including being a responsible and safe driver.
  • Support construction activities as needed, including site visits and field support.
  • Work outside regular hours to meet project deadlines and complete cost estimates efficiently.
  • Travel to project sites when required, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude and positive personality, capable of working well with multi-functional teams.
  • Mechanical or related engineering degree preferred; relevant technical experience considered.
  • Knowledge of 49 CFR 192, ASME B31.8, and natural gas industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience designing natural gas pipelines and meter stations, including preparing drawings and material lists.
  • Skilled in creating construction scope of work and contract documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and drawing software like Visio.
  • Familiarity with Google Earth Pro for preparing kmz drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and effective communication.
  • Ability to work independently, responsibly, and safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be available for travel as needed.

Publishing Pay Range: $54.00 – $55.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
