Role Summary
This position involves supporting pipeline operations and land activities within the San Antonio area and surrounding Central/South Texas regions. It offers a responsible role for individuals experienced in land rights, title research, and property documentation, working closely with operations teams, landowners, and local stakeholders. The role requires on-site presence and engagement with field locations to ensure seamless land and right-of-way management.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret easements, deeds, and various land-rights documents to support pipeline projects.
- Conduct title research and update ownership records from original acquisition through current status.
- Perform land and property due diligence, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and deliver landowner notifications related to pipeline activities and operational updates.
- Engage professionally with landowners, including those unfamiliar with oil and gas or pipeline operations.
- Resolve routine land and right-of-way issues that arise during project execution.
- Support acquisition or negotiation processes as needed, assisting in land-related transactions.
- Maintain precise land documentation and coordinate paperwork through the Land department.
- Work onsite in the San Antonio office with regular travel to field locations within the region.
- Collaborate effectively with operations, land, and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
Qualifications
- Experience in right of way, land services, title research, real estate, pipeline, utility, or a related property field.
- Proven ability to read and interpret easements, deeds, and property documents accurately.
- Demonstrated experience performing title research, ownership verification, or land due diligence.
- Strong communication skills for engaging landowners and resolving land-related issues.
- Ability to build relationships and manage conflicts professionally.
- Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for local travel to field locations as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 – $47.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
