Role Summary
This position involves reviewing and validating lease document data, updating payment and obligation information within the lease management system, and escalating issues as necessary. It is a contract role primarily focused on land records administration related to real property leases. The role offers an opportunity to work closely with land management teams and ensure data accuracy within a structured onsite environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review lease documents and associated data for accuracy within the land management system.
  • Update payment, escalation, obligation, and term information in the system to reflect accurate lease details.
  • Identify discrepancies in lease data and communicate issues to the Land Manager for resolution.
  • Validate legal descriptions, plats, and maps to ensure lease information aligns with land records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive lease and land data in compliance with company policies.
  • Perform quality checks on lease data entries and updates regularly.
  • Assist with land records administration tasks as assigned by the Land Manager.
  • Document findings and updates thoroughly for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Support process improvements for lease data management and validation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and compliance in lease recordkeeping.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in land records administration, with emphasis on real property leases, lease payments, escalations, and obligations.
  • Prior experience working with Quorum On Demand Land (ODL) or similar lease management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of land title processes is preferred.
  • Experience interpreting legal descriptions, plats, alignment sheets, and maps is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Google Earth software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with high accuracy.
  • Must be available for a temporary assignment lasting approximately 2 years.
  • This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.

Publishing Pay Range: $46.00 – $47.00 hourly
