Role Summary

This position involves serving as a ServiceNow Platform Administrator and Architect, responsible for supporting the administration, maintenance, and strategic development of the ServiceNow platform. The role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in platform configuration, integration, and architecture support to ensure optimal performance and scalability. The individual will collaborate closely with stakeholders to enhance platform capabilities and support ongoing IT Service Management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day platform administration, including user, group, and role management, access controls, and configuration updates
  • Support platform upgrades, patches, instance clones, and release management activities to ensure system stability
  • Configure and maintain core ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and CMDB
  • Develop and support workflows, business rules, forms, catalogs, reports, dashboards, and notifications
  • Monitor platform performance, diagnose issues, and implement performance tuning measures
  • Support integration efforts with other enterprise systems via REST API, Transform Maps, MID Server, and Integration Hub
  • Maintain platform governance, data quality, and support SOX compliance and audit activities
  • Provide end-user support, training, and operational guidance to ensure effective platform usage
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new features and platform enhancements
  • Leverage AI tools and capabilities to improve productivity and solution quality

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and architecture support
  • Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
  • Proven experience with core modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and CMDB
  • Strong understanding of platform management, workflows, scripting (JavaScript), and development concepts
  • Experience supporting platform upgrades, patches, and performance monitoring
  • Ability to support integrations with other enterprise systems using REST API and other tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present technical information clearly
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC practices, and application lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with AI tools like Github Copilot and Playwright for enhanced productivity
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.

Publishing Pay Range: $47.00 – $48.00 hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
