SharePoint Architect/Developer
GDH Consulting is hiring a highly skilled and seasoned SharePoint Architect/Developer for a highly responsible position for our client. This role requires a high-level of expertise in SharePoint, M365, and the Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps. The successful candidate will work on-site, fully engaging with staff at all levels to gather requirements and develop business intelligence and automation solutions. This position is set for a full year with the possibility of renewal every fiscal year, ensuring a stable and dynamic work environment for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with staff at all levels to gather and analyze business requirements, driving the development of technical solutions aligned with business and IT strategies.
- Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support application software, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop superior solutions in the Power Platform space by reverse engineering existing applications.
- Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and make buy vs. build recommendations.
- Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members throughout the full systems life cycle.
- Utilize a variety of technologies including .NET, SQL Server, SMS, IIS, and Adobe Creative Suite to exhibit UI/UX development professionalism.
- Adhere to the organization’s architectural standards and contribute to the improvement of these standards.
- Master's degree in computer science or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of high-level working experience.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint, M365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, and Azure.
- Proficiency in .NET technologies, SQL Server, SMS, IIS, Active Directory, Server Manager, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong skills in JSON, REST, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other graphic design solutions to facilitate UI/UX development.
- Ability to reverse engineer existing applications and develop superior solutions in the Power Platform space.
- Familiarity with agile development methodology and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Experience in systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
- Eligibility for transition to merit system staff is required.
- Must be prepared to discuss and possibly show all prior projects in great detail.
- The work is 100% on-site and candidates must be willing to commit to this arrangement.
