Role Summary

This position involves the coordination and management of deliveries, inventory, shipments, and materials within a data center environment. The role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual capable of handling fast-paced, hands-on operational tasks. Responsibilities encompass receiving, storing, and verifying materials, as well as supporting shipment preparations and inventory accuracy activities to ensure optimal data center operations.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and document physical and systematic delivery of devices and consumables to the data center.
  • Ensure materials are securely stored and properly organized upon receipt.
  • Expedite shipments and perform ad-hoc physical verification of materials in warehouses.
  • Maintain storage areas to optimize accessibility and accuracy.
  • Create physical project pallets for equipment and material movement.
  • Coordinate the pulling, preparing, and shipping of materials to other sites or warehouses.
  • Support and escalate urgent data center operational material requests.
  • Conduct weekly inventory scans of devices and perform cycle counts based on ABC analysis schedule.
  • Investigate and resolve onsite and warehouse inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage return-to-stock (RTS) transactions both physically and systemically, including post-project unused materials and RTS rack transactions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Basic understanding of inventory systems and cycle counting procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate urgent issues appropriately.
  • Availability to work on-site during scheduled hours.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to receiving, storage, and shipment activities.
  • Reliable with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Capable of lifting and maneuvering large or heavy equipment as required.

Publishing Pay Range: $26.75 – $27.92 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
