Telecom Expense Management Analyst
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecom Expense Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in implementing and adhering to Telecom Expense Management (TEM) methodologies to ensure systematic analysis and management of our complex telecommunications services. The successful candidate will be responsible for order creation and processing, asset and service inventory management, invoice accuracy, auditing, service optimization, and reporting and analytics for our wireless, voice, and data telecommunications services. This is a full-time position that promises a challenging yet rewarding environment for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Telecom Expense Management processes, including order processing, inventory creation, and invoice management.
- Optimize voice, data, wireless rate plans and services to ensure cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct comprehensive audits to ensure the accuracy of complex telecommunications billing and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Manage sourcing, ordering, provisioning, and dispute management for both fixed and mobile services, ensuring compliance with contracted terms.
- Proactively manage contract term expirations, ensuring billing accuracy by comparing actual data to contractual rates and terms.
- Engage in network provisioning, collaborating with engineering teams for service estimation and managing vendor orders efficiently.
- Provide detailed reporting and analytics on telecommunications spending, usage, and service level performance to support decision-making.
- Stay abreast of rapidly changing telecommunications technologies and carrier services to maintain industry competitiveness.
- In-depth understanding of Telecom Expense Management methodologies and Lifecycle Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications services, technologies, and billing systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on telecom contracts, billing rates, invoicing, and spending analysis.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in PC skills, including spreadsheets, word processors, and report writers.
- Experience navigating vendor portals for product and service information, problem resolution, and critical service access.
- A proactive approach to managing contract terms and ensuring compliance with service providers.
- Demonstrated ability to stay updated on telecommunications technologies and carrier services.
