Join as the Payment Operations Modernization Leader and play a pivotal role in transforming payment processing capabilities. As we upgrade from legacy on-prem applications to the cutting-edge Fiserv EPP payment hub for ACH, wires, and instant payments, we seek a dynamic, hands-on leader with a proven track record in financial institution modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end transition from legacy systems to the Fiserv EPP platform, ensuring smooth migration and optimal operational performance.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance straight-through-processing (STP) rates, operational efficiency, and system reliability across ACH, wire transfers, and instant payment channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute modernization roadmaps, aligning technological upgrades with business goals.
  • Act as a change agent, steering organizational adjustments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital assets and artificial intelligence applications, integrating innovative solutions to streamline bank operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies throughout the modernization process.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience guiding financial institutions through major payment system upgrades—preferably with platforms such as Fiserv EPP, FIS MMH, Finzly, Volante, or Alactriti.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ACH, wire transfers, and instant payments operations.
  • Proven ability to improve processing efficiency and operational metrics through technology and process improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills with a keen eye for detail and organizational change management.
  • Knowledge of digital assets and AI applications relevant to banking operations.

Publishing Pay Range: $75.00 – $85.00 Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from any approved location within the United States.
