Role Summary
An experienced IT Developer is sought to join a collaborative project team responsible for delivering scalable, modern application solutions. This role involves supporting all phases of application development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate will contribute to building robust distributed systems, APIs, and integrations within an Agile environment, utilizing current .NET Core technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead medium to large software development projects, including creating technical requirements and design specifications.
  • Develop, test, and deploy software solutions aligned with business needs and technical standards.
  • Prioritize and assign tasks to other developers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations utilizing OpenAPI/Swagger and RabbitMQ.
  • Build interactive user interfaces with Blazor Server and work with SQL Server or Oracle databases.
  • Create and execute unit and system integration tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, coordinating with Infrastructure and other IT teams when necessary.
  • Monitor application environments to identify and mitigate potential risks proactively.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five to seven years of relevant professional experience, with a minimum of four years in software development roles.
  • Proven experience with .NET frameworks, Java, or open-source technologies, and strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design, N-Tier Architecture, and internet technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with high-performance system design, multi-threaded programming, security, error handling, and scalability.
  • Familiarity with middleware concepts such as messaging, SOA, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with database management systems and technology infrastructure components.
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to develop technical presentations and documentation.
  • Ability to read and write fluently in English.
  • Availability to work remotely and reliably adhere to scheduled hours.

Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $70.00 hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
