Role Summary
This position oversees large and complex technology projects that generate significant value for the organization. The role requires strategic thinking, proactive risk management, and effective navigation of ambiguous situations. The ideal candidate fosters collaboration among technical and business teams to ensure successful project delivery, providing insightful analysis and actionable solutions to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multiple large-scale IT projects and programs with broad organizational impact.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and governance documents.
  • Understand business objectives, requirements, dependencies, and the full lifecycle of projects.
  • Anticipate risks, issues, and resource constraints early, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Partner with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align priorities and achieve project goals.
  • Provide clear, concise project performance reports, executive communications, and strategic recommendations.
  • Facilitate decision-making by presenting options, tradeoffs, risks, and solution pathways.
  • Ensure adherence to governance protocols and project management best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging emerging technologies, AI, and automation to enhance project delivery.
  • Promote high-quality execution, ownership, and sustainable business value across all initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of project management experience supporting IT initiatives, or eleven (11) years of related business experience.
  • Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional technology projects.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with risk management and resource planning.
  • Strong decision-making and executive communication abilities.
  • Capability to foster collaboration across technical and business teams.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid schedule.

Publishing Pay Range: $70.00 – $80.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
