Role Summary
This position is a senior-level IT Analyst responsible for supporting data transformation projects related to fraud analysis. The role involves collaborating with data teams and IT to ensure accurate metadata capture and management within the data catalog. This position requires a strong understanding of data systems and metadata processes to enhance data governance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data teams and IT personnel to capture and document relevant data fields and metadata.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the data catalog to ensure comprehensive metadata management.
  • Assist in data transformation processes related to fraud detection and analysis.
  • Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of metadata.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align metadata strategies with project goals.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting related to data and metadata issues.
  • Document processes and procedures for metadata management standards.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in data governance and data management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations during metadata handling.
  • Support project documentation and reporting to facilitate transparency and data traceability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis, metadata management, or related IT roles.
  • Strong knowledge of data systems, data transformation, and data catalog tools.
  • Experience supporting fraud data projects or similar analytical domains.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Availability to work on-site at the designated location.
  • Relevant technical certifications in data management or related fields are preferred.

Publishing Pay Range: $80.00 – $88.00 hourly
