Role Summary
This senior project management position involves overseeing large-scale software and technology initiatives within an enterprise environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through implementation, including requirements gathering, vendor engagement, system design, testing, and go-live activities.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to facilitate project execution, resolve issues, and ensure timely decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project plans, resource allocation, and timelines to meet project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, budget utilization, and risks; adjust plans and resources proactively to stay aligned with goals.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential project delays or budget overruns.
- Serve as a point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements, design, and deliverables.
- Foster collaboration across departments, vendors, and stakeholders to support seamless project execution and change management.
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and issue resolutions to leadership and management teams.
- Support process improvement initiatives related to testing, project management methodologies, and tool utilization.
- Mentor and support junior team members, including onboarding new staff and supporting their professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related field; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a technology environment.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders in enterprise projects.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, and Visio, along with strong MS Office skills.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities easily and make informed decisions under pressure.

Publishing Pay Range: $100.00 – $110.00 hourly
