Role Summary
The Acquisition Program Management Support Specialist provides comprehensive acquisition lifecycle support for U.S. Government programs focused on counternarcotics and Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) requirements. This mid to senior-level role involves managing and reviewing contractual documentation, supporting all phases of third-party procurement processes, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency. The specialist will assist in developing, analyzing, and maintaining acquisition documentation, as well as facilitating communication across program teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and review of all pre-award and post-award acquisition documentation, including task orders, Statements of Work (SOW), and cost estimates.
  • Support analysis and critique of third-party contractor performance to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness aligned with program objectives.
  • Conduct research to define, refine, and develop acquisition requirements and supporting documentation, including risk analysis and work breakdown structures.
  • Facilitate the creation of acquisition templates, performance metrics, and presentation materials for program reviews and internal audits.
  • Support the drafting of justification and approval documents for sole-source acquisitions and other procurement exceptions.
  • Maintain organized contract records, ensuring updates are completed within two business days of receipt, and support contract close-out activities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder meetings, including teleconferences and in-person updates with U.S. Government officials and third-party contractors.
  • Develop agendas, conference minutes, and presentation materials to keep all stakeholders informed of project status and issues.
  • Input and update contract and acquisition data in digital platforms such as SharePoint, SMT, and other government systems.
  • Perform administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, managing communication, and supporting audit preparation activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of acquisition experience, including at least 2 years of program management experience.
  • At least 2 years of service acquisition experience with familiarity in FAR, DFARS, and AFARS regulations.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent certification required.
  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle and contract management processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government acquisition platforms (e.g., SharePoint, SMT).
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required. 

Publishing Pay Range: $39.41 – $41.82 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
