Role Summary
This position involves managing complex projects with a focus on applying and adapting project management analysis techniques. The role requires guiding less experienced team members, working independently with limited guidance, and delivering high-quality outcomes. It is suited for professionals with substantial experience in project management, particularly within finance, business, or related fields. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to projects across multiple environments, including office settings and project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives are met within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Apply project management methodologies and analysis techniques, adapting as necessary to project requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project management team members.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate project progress and resolve issues.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor project performance, track milestones, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct risk management activities to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to project/construction sites as required, supporting on-site project activities and inspections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related project management experience, with preferred 8 years.
  • Proficiency with business computer tools such as Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and risk management processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license (may be required).
  • CAPM certification is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Availability to travel as needed, with less than 10% travel anticipated.

Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 – $47.00 hourly

This is a hybrid role, offering a schedule with time split between remote work and the office.
