Role Summary
This role involves managing the daily operations and tactical execution of multiple large-scale infrastructure projects, primarily within highly regulated environments such as financial institutions. The position requires overseeing physical infrastructure deployments, including network upgrades, server and router installations, low-voltage cabling, and site readiness activities. The successful candidate will coordinate resources, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project success, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operational and project execution activities across multiple infrastructure deployment projects.
  • Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with clear dependencies and critical path identification.
  • Coordinate field resources, vendors, and installation teams to execute physical infrastructure installations safely and in accordance with site policies.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and constraints, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to align project objectives and updates.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships within regulated environments, such as financial institutions, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Create and manage resource and capacity plans to support concurrent projects with onsite and remote components.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to ensure predictable, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks associated with site access, scheduling, materials, and field operations.
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, profitability, margins, and billing, ensuring delivery within approved budgets.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager supporting external customer-facing infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in a professional or managed services environment managing multisite infrastructure deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure deployments such as network refreshes, server and routing infrastructure, low-voltage wiring, and hardware migrations.
  • Strong background across domains including networking, storage, virtualization, cloud, security, and collaboration systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate field execution involving technicians, vendors, and site-specific logistics.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, with PMP and/or CAPM certification preferred.
  • Solid understanding of project financial processes and ability to generate financial reports.
  • Experience in risk management, stakeholder analysis, and effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, aggressively tracking timelines, even under shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with particular strength in customer-facing interactions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including team-building and change management skills.
  • Proficient with project management and reporting tools such as Clarity or equivalent platforms.

Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $70.00 hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
