Role Summary
This midstream land and right-of-way coordinator position requires over five years of relevant experience supporting local stakeholders on land access and right-of-way projects. The role involves developing and implementing plans for access, temporary workspace, and integrity or corrosion projects. The individual will work independently with minimal guidance to ensure project compliance and effective stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Support local stakeholders in land and right-of-way projects within an assigned geographic area.
- Develop plans for access, temporary workspace, and project notifications related to integrity and corrosion activities.
- Prepare reports concerning easement rights, title updates, and landowner claims.
- Negotiate and draft legal agreements related to real property rights.
- Identify, acquire, and manage permits from private, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Investigate damage claims, negotiate settlements, and process payment checks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure project compliance and smooth execution.
- Maintain accurate records of land rights, agreements, and correspondence using GIS, Excel, and online research tools.
- Assist in resolving landowner disputes and claims efficiently.
- Provide project documentation and reports to Land Manager/Supervisor as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in midstream land, right-of-way, or similar roles.
- Proven proficiency with GIS, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and online research tools.
- Strong knowledge of land rights, easements, and legal agreement negotiation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with permit acquisition from various agencies is preferred.
- Title experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Publishing Pay Range: $42.00 – $45.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
