Role Summary
This role involves managing and resolving complex issues related to Microsoft Teams and endpoint systems within an enterprise environment. The position requires a technical leader capable of analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Windows endpoints, Active Directory, and Office 365 configurations. The role extends to supporting enterprise-wide deployment projects and implementing sustainable solutions to enhance collaboration tools and endpoint performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead investigations and resolve advanced Microsoft Teams issues including audio, video, connectivity, call quality, and Teams phones.
- Analyze and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 endpoint configurations, imaging processes, and Active Directory integrations.
- Identify root causes of inconsistent user impact related to policies, imaging, profiles, AD, and tenant configurations.
- Evaluate and enhance endpoint imaging standards, configuration procedures, and Office 365 tenant settings.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, systems architecture, and cross-functional IT teams to implement fixes and updates.
- Support the rollout of Windows 11 and participate in Office 365 optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and troubleshooting guides to prevent recurring issues.
- Provide strategic recommendations for long-term improvements to endpoint management and collaboration tools.
- Assist in testing and deploying updates or changes to endpoint configurations and related systems.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience troubleshooting Microsoft Teams in large-scale enterprise settings.
- Strong background in Office 365 administration and engineering.
- Expertise in Active Directory and endpoint configuration management.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 imaging, deployment, and configuration.
- Ability to diagnose issues affecting subsets of users, including policy, imaging, profile, and tenant-level inconsistencies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and guide strategic initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical documentation abilities.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Teams, Office 365, or Windows systems are advantageous.
- Availability to work on-site as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Publishing Pay Range: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
