Role Summary
This role involves providing system analysis and support for healthcare applications, primarily focusing on system design, build, testing, and ongoing maintenance. The position requires a candidate with a solid understanding of workflow processes and technical problem-solving skills to ensure optimal application performance. This is a technical position suited for individuals capable of working independently within a collaborative environment to improve system functionality and support end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, validate, and support assigned healthcare applications, ensuring alignment with functional workflows.
  • Collaborate with team members and interdisciplinary stakeholders to review and develop future state workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancements, working with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to resolve complex system issues, proposing alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, updates, and incident resolutions.
  • Provide tier-2 support for application incidents reported via the help desk.
  • Implement changes according to documented and compliant processes, adhering to departmental policies.
  • Participate in training and certification processes, maintaining required certifications such as Epic modules.
  • Engage with internal and external customers through face-to-face or remote interactions, fostering high-quality customer service.
  • Travel as needed for Epic training sessions and to remote work locations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of related healthcare application support or analysis experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned application modules.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suitable for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Publishing Pay Range: $70.00 – $85.00 hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
