Role Summary

This role involves managing the deployment of network equipment across multiple field locations within a defined timeline. It requires coordination of installation activities, ensuring reliable connectivity, and documenting technical issues. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with a focus on travel to site locations over an extended project period.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy network equipment at designated field sites following established guidelines and protocols
  • Ensure successful connectivity of routers and related hardware before and after installation
  • Document all technical issues, outages, and incidents during deployment and post-installation
  • Communicate risks, outages, and project updates promptly to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and accommodate weekly travel requirements
  • Perform site assessments and recommend solutions based on site-specific connectivity methods (VSAT, cellular, etc.)
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth installation processes
  • Conduct testing of installed equipment to verify network performance and stability
  • Maintain detailed records of deployments, issues, and resolutions for project documentation
  • Support troubleshooting and provide technical guidance as needed during deployment phases

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in network equipment deployment and infrastructure management
  • Knowledge of various site connection methods such as VSAT, cellular, and other broadband solutions
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a multi-site project environment with extensive travel
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams and reporting issues
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel weekly for approximately 18 months
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various working environments
  • Prior experience with field deployment projects is preferred
  • Eligible to work in the country without restrictions
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid schedule, combining travel and remote work

Publishing Pay Range: $20.00 – $32.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between travel to field locations and remote work.
