Role Summary
The IT Procurement Analyst plays a key role in supporting the procurement and accounts payable functions related to technology products and services. This position involves coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth purchasing processes, accurate invoice processing, and compliance with contractual agreements. The role requires strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment, contributing to cost savings and process efficiencies in technology procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders for IT hardware, software, telecommunications, and professional services.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather procurement requirements and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Track purchase orders from initiation through receipt and payment.
  • Support vendor selection processes and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Assist with obtaining quotes, evaluating pricing, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Review, reconcile, and process vendor invoices related to IT purchases and services.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounts Payable teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, licensing agreements, and vendor documentation.
  • Monitor vendor performance and support contract administration and compliance activities.
  • Maintain procurement and spending reports, analyze purchasing trends, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Information Systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, accounts payable, finance operations, or vendor management.
  • Experience processing purchase orders and vendor invoices.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and accounts payable workflows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Publishing Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
