Role Summary
This position involves supporting the development and deployment of advanced data solutions within a dynamic team focused on fraud prevention and data analytics. The role requires a versatile software developer with experience in modern ETL processes, cloud computing, and AI integration, contributing to high-impact projects in a secure environment. It offers opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and collaborate on innovative initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation and integration of AI capabilities to improve data quality, fraud detection, and automation processes within cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize machine learning models, ensuring scalability and robustness in AWS environments.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions to facilitate data processing workflows.
  • Modernize data ingestion pipelines by leveraging Java, Python, and Big Data technologies in an AWS cloud setting.
  • Work with core AWS services to implement scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of backend applications using Java and J2EE frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven components into production pipelines.
  • Participate in agile development processes, contributing to planning, review, and deployment cycles.
  • Document technical solutions and provide support for production environments.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay current with evolving data engineering, AI, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing, testing, and supporting ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Practical experience with Python libraries supporting AI workflows, including deploying AI agents and MCP servers.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks platforms, optimizing data workflows and queries.
  • Solid understanding of backend development for scalable, secure server-side applications.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and data engineering tools.
  • Ability to work effectively within collaborative, team-oriented environments.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working within Agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.

Publishing Pay Range: $35.00 – $38.00 USD Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from any approved location within the United States.
