Role Summary
This senior-level project management role involves overseeing complex network transformation initiatives within the information technology sector. Responsibilities
- Track progress on assigned technology projects, including milestones, deadlines, and issue resolution.
- Lead comprehensive project delivery for network relocations, site closures, network decommissioning, and greenfield network deployments.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project documentation such as project plans, timelines, status reports, RAID logs, and work breakdown structures.
- Provide consistent project status updates aligned with client and internal reporting standards.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration across network engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders.
- Create actionable workflows to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues during project execution.
- Coordinate efforts to resolve roadblocks and maintain project stability and momentum.
- Manage project communication, reporting, and documentation efforts, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability in project leadership.
- Use industry-leading project management tools and automation solutions, including Power BI, to enhance visibility, reporting, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the information technology industry with at least 10 years in project management.
- Proven success managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including network relocations, site closures, and greenfield deployments.
- Strong knowledge of core networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and SD-WAN.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- In-depth experience with project tracking and reporting tools like Smartsheet, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Currently residing in the NY, NJ, CT, or PA region and willing to work on a hybrid schedule.
Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $63.00 hourly
