Role Summary
This role drives business-focused process and transformation initiatives within the Oil & Gas industry. Working closely with operational teams and business stakeholders, the position evaluates current-state workflows and helps shape future-state plans to improve efficiency and outcomes. The scope requires hands-on execution and strong stakeholder engagement across multiple teams and priorities. The ideal candidate operates as a working manager, translating business needs into clear recommendations, roadmaps, and actionable next steps.
Responsibilities
- Engage with approximately 14–15 teams across the organization to gather insights and align on priorities
- Conduct interviews to understand current-state processes and future-state requirements
- Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, synergies, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop recommendations, roadmaps, and future-state process plans
- Support business case development and help identify future project funding opportunities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and operational teams to validate findings and feasibility
- Assist with initiatives that may include GIS-related data or related workflow improvement efforts
- Coordinate across departments to manage competing priorities and maintain momentum
- Translate process findings into practical actions that drive adoption and results
Qualifications
- Mandatory Oil & Gas industry experience
- Experience working with business stakeholders and operational teams in a cross-functional environment
- Background in process improvement, business analysis, or organizational transformation
- Strong preference for a working manager profile focused on execution rather than coordination alone
- Comfortable partnering across multiple departments with competing priorities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess current processes and recommend improvements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including interviewing and synthesis of insights
- Action-oriented approach focused on delivering outcomes over documentation-heavy project management
- Ability to take ownership of initiatives from discovery through recommendation and planning
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Publishing Pay Range: $100.00 – $105.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
